Chargeback Policy

1. Overview

SPOT369 LLC ("we", "us", "our") takes chargebacks seriously. A chargeback (also called a payment dispute) occurs when you ask your bank or credit card company to reverse a charge. This policy explains our approach to chargebacks and how they affect your account.

2. Before Filing a Chargeback

We strongly encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are intended as a consumer protection tool for unauthorized or fraudulent charges, not as a substitute for our refund process.

If you have a billing concern:

  • Check your email for subscription confirmation and renewal notices
  • Review your account's subscription status in the product
  • Email us at hello@spot369.com and we will work to resolve the issue

In most cases, we can resolve billing issues faster than the chargeback process, which can take 30-90 days.

3. What Happens When a Chargeback Is Filed

When we receive a chargeback notification:

  • Your account access may be suspended until the dispute is resolved
  • We will submit documentation to the payment processor including proof of service delivery, usage logs, subscription agreement, and communication history
  • The payment processor will review evidence from both sides and make a determination

4. Friendly Fraud

We monitor for patterns of "friendly fraud" - chargebacks filed despite legitimate service delivery. If a chargeback is found to be without merit:

  • The charge may be reinstated by your payment processor
  • Your account may be permanently suspended
  • You may be prohibited from creating new accounts
  • Outstanding balances may be sent to collections

5. Legitimate Chargebacks

We fully support your right to dispute truly unauthorized charges. If your payment method was used without your authorization, please:

  • File a chargeback with your bank immediately
  • Contact us so we can investigate and secure your account
  • We will cooperate with all fraud investigations

6. Prevention

To avoid unexpected charges:

  • Review your subscription plan and billing frequency before purchasing
  • Set a reminder before renewal dates
  • Cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle if you no longer wish to use the service
  • Keep your payment method and contact information up to date

7. Account Reinstatement

If your account was suspended due to a chargeback and the dispute is resolved in our favor, you may request reinstatement by contacting us. Reinstatement is at our discretion.
